Official Halifax County criminal records must be requested from the public office that created or maintains them. The Sheriff handles its own incident and arrest material along with detention records, while the Clerk of Superior Court keeps filed District and Superior Court cases. State repository, corrections, and registry information follow separate North Carolina channels. This private site cannot provide those records, but the routes below identify the proper custodians.

This Is Not a Government Office. This is a private reference site. It cannot retrieve criminal records, perform official checks, change or remove a record, or receive an expunction filing. Those services remain with the responsible government custodian.
